EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION
This body of work explores the fragile boundary between structure and dissolution, using flowers as a point of departure. Rather than documenting flowers, the images examine transformation itself: the moment when something familiar slips into ambiguity, and perception must reconstruct meaning from what remains.
Submerged in water, the blooms are removed from their natural context and enter a suspended state where gravity loosens its hold and form becomes unstable. Petals unfurl, collapse, and recombine with drifting plumes, creating transient configurations that feel at once organic and unfamiliar. The underwater environment transforms the flowers into something less botanical and more elemental.
Tendrils of pigment and light move through the frame like currents, suggesting processes that exist beyond the scale of the visible - at times cellular, at times cosmic. What begins as a recognizable form gradually shifts into abstraction, where the distinction between object and atmosphere dissolves.
Two of the images step outside the water yet remain conceptually aligned. They echo the same tension between cohesion and dispersal, replacing fluid motion with gesture and fragmentation. Together, the series considers how form is never fixed but continuously shaped by forces acting upon it - whether water, light, or time.
