CURATORIAL STATEMENT

Buildings often pop up and obstruct the skyline. It's not that they are eyesores; rather, they change the horizon. A significant aspect of something new blending in is its integration into the community. It was deemed important to utilize a local artist inspired by their surroundings. The artwork drew inspiration from the natural wildflowers and the palette of the mountains nestled into the skyline behind Arvada. The final result created a buzz among residents and beautifully blended the building into place.
