PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Hacienda Del Rio, located in Phoenix, Arizona, is a garden-style community offering 146 units for residents aged 62 and older, thoughtfully designed to foster comfort, independence, and connection. Across the property, ATP has curated a sculpture walk that brings art directly into residents’ daily lives, weaving creativity into their outdoor spaces. The installation opens and concludes with striking contemporary works by Phoenix-based sculptor Jeff Zischke, complemented by the lifelike, desert-inspired forms of Desert Steel. Together, the sculptures transform the grounds into a shared cultural experience, enriching daily life with moments of discovery, beauty, and conversation. Inside, the focus turns hyper-local, featuring works by artists such as Katie M Laws, each piece enlivening the interiors and advancing Hacienda’s mission to create community and comfort throughout its common spaces.
