About The Artist
Racquel Miller, a professional artist based in Connecticut, specializes in acrylic paintings that evoke a serene, nature-inspired aesthetic. Self-taught, she channels her intuitive imagination into original works crafted on heavy-duty gallery-wrapped canvas using professional-grade acrylic paints. Her art, influenced by her upbringing in Pasadena, California, reflects a deep connection to the outdoors, instilled by her parents. Since 2020, Racquel has explored abstract art, creating pieces that capture the tranquility of natural landscapes. Her work is represented by Yuan Ru Gallery in Washington State and has been featured in prominent publications, including House & Garden UK, The World of Interiors, and GQ Magazine.
Racquel’s exhibitions include a 2025 online exhibit, the 2023 Hops In the Hill Show, a 2022 four-month exhibition at Yale University Art & Health, and a 2021 solo exhibition at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, Connecticut. She has also participated in group shows at Spectrum Art Gallery, such as Splashes, Drips, & Drops and Abstracting Nature in 2021. Her artwork resides in private collections across Texas, Hawaii, Australia, Florida, and Connecticut. Racquel earned 2nd Place in Mixed Media at The Connecticut Art Gallery in Thomaston, Connecticut.
A wife and mother of three boys, Racquel balances her artistic career with family life, drawing inspiration from both her coastal surroundings and her creative passion. Her dedication to her craft ensures each piece carries a unique, heartfelt essence.
